To Our Valued Customers: At Citi Trends, our mission is to provide a positive, fun and friendly in-store experience from start to finish. We believe in treating everyone equally and respectfully.  Our goal is to create a memorable, hassle-free customer journey by delivering best-in-class service. Respect around here is immediate, honest and non-negotiable.

We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate goal of making our customers happy. Below are guidelines to help you understand our return process for refunds and exchanges. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask your local Citi Trends management team.

  • Have a Return with a Receipt? To receive a full refund or exchange on an item, please return the item within 30 days of the original purchase with a receipt and original Citi Trends tag. At your preference, the full refund amount will be issued in the original payment method, applied to your exchanged item, or applied to a gift card for store credit.
    • No refunds will be issued for Clearance merchandise. Exchanges will be issued within 30 days of purchase with a receipt and original Citi Trends tag.
    • No refunds or exchanges will be issued for undergarments.
    • No refunds or exchanges will be issued for washed, worn, or altered merchandise.
    • No refunds on Layaways.
    • No refunds without a receipt or in excess of 30 days.
  • Have a Return with No Receipt? Don’t worry, items can still be exchanged in the amount of the item’s current sale price if it has its original Citi Trends tag.
